Jealsa is a Spanish family-owned food company with more than 60 years of experience, originally dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of canned fish and seafood.

Jealsa’s objective as a company committed to society and the environment is to establish guidelines that guarantee that the raw material comes from responsible fishing, to support activities aimed at the conservation of marine resources and to collaborate with social projects where our centers are located. In addition, we have created the We Sea initiative, our Corporate Social Responsibility program that encompasses all of the company’s efforts in the areas of sustainability and social responsibility.

Nueva Pescanova Group

The Nueva Pescanova Group is a Spanish multinational specialized in fishing, farming, processing and marketing of seafood products in 80 countries.

With nearly 12,000 employees, it is one of the few seafood multinationals present throughout the value chain, from origin to sale.

Stolt Sea Farm

Stolt Sea Farm, a subsidiary of Stolt-Nielsen Limited, has been a pioneer in aquaculture since 1972.

The company is a world leader in land-based aquaculture, being the leading supplier of high quality, sustainably farmed turbot and sole. It is headquartered in Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña, Spain) and covers the entire production cycle in both species.

With 14 farms distributed in Portugal, Spain, France, Iceland and Norway, it has marketed 8,500 tons of turbot, as well as 1,500 tons of sole in 2021. It is an innovative company and a reference in premium species aquaculture.

(OPROMAR) is a transnational organization which brings together
more than 30 fishing companies comprising vessels of the following types of vessels
modalities: 21 trawlers, 17 longliners, 4 purse seiners.

Marine Research Institute. CSIC

The Instituto de Investigaciones Marinas (IIM-CSIC) is one of the main marine research centers in the Iberian Peninsula. Looking at the Atlantic from Vigo, a city with a strong connection to the sea, the IIM-CSIC faces the challenge of increasing our knowledge about the ocean, from its physical, chemical and biological characteristics to the food we take from it and the processes that link them, including the sustainable valorization of the waste generated by the marine food industry.

Valora Marine Ingredients was born inspired by the sea and its resources.

Our goal is to offer products of natural origin that meet the needs of highly dynamic industries such as pharmaceuticals, nutrition and cosmetics, among others.

Valora is committed to respecting our environment, our raw materials and our source of resources, the oceans. To this end, Valora Marine Ingredients is based on the Japanese Mottainai concept, which seeks the rationalization and integral use of our resources.
